Green Items
Items reduces waste by using less material when we package our products and purchase
the materials.
-Minimally packaged
Bulk packaging not only reduces the cost to ship, but
also reduces the amount of packaging waste.
- Use reusable containers
Items uses reusable
containers that can be returned for reuse, thus reducing the amount of packaging waste
Waste Reduction of the end result is money saved, resources conserved and pollution reduced.
Recycling Policy
We meet WEEE directive requiring the removal and separate treatment of specified items such
as PCBs,
Batteries, Plastics containing brominated flame retardants and Asbestos and mercury.
In order to ensure that removal is quick and easy, we successfully design our products to
minimize recycling costs.
Purchasing Policy
Purchasing lead-free products play a key role in our green policy. Purchasing products that restricts
the six hazardous
substances complying with the RoHS. The six substances are as following:
● Lead
● Mercury
● Cadmium
● Hexavalent Chromium
● Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
● Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE)
We also purchase from suppliers that provide products or services with less natural resources,
less wastage,
and less pollution to form a “Green Supply Chain”
Product Design for End of Life Policy
Items research and develop products for more energy efficient, easily recyclable or reusable. For example,
rechargeable
nickel-cadmium batteries can be recycled to recover both cadmium and nickel for other uses.
Based on the end of life, we design easily-disassemble and recycled products that are compliance with RoHS and WEEE.
